Position Title: Service Assistant/Yard Hand

This role is crucial in maintaining our inventory's pristine condition, supporting our service department, and ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and inventory, ensuring all boats and marine products are presented in the best possible condition.
• Assist the service department with the movement of boats and preparation for service or delivery.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, assisting with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of the yard equipment and tools, reporting any damages or malfunctions.
• Support the setup and breakdown of displays for boat shows or dealership events.
• Follow all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a marine dealership or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be physically capable of moving and handling heavy objects.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid state driver’s license.
